Our ACVO members are all very concerned about the global health and economic risks associated with COVID-19, and our thoughts are with those directly affected by this disease. In order to adhere to CDC guidelines and not increase risk unnecessary exposure of the public, our doctors and their staff, ACVO has decided to cancel the 2020 ACVO/Epicur National Service Animal Eye Exam Event. The event will not be able to be rescheduled this calendar year.
ACVO is grateful to our members and sponsors who graciously donate their time and resources each year, ensuring the continuation of this great event. As long as our veterinary ophthalmologists are able to volunteer their time and resources in the future, we hope to be able to continue this event starting again in 2021.
Thank you to Epicur (a new division of Stokes), who has agreed to continue to support this program in the future.
If you need to reach a veterinary ophthalmologist for general services or for an existing condition, please visit the www.ACVO.org website.
We sincerely wish safety and good health to everyone during these uncertain times.
Warmest regards,
The American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists
